Laser Show Projector Price: How Much Does It Cost?
What decides a laser show projector's price, what each LaserCube model costs, what the combos add, and the extras to budget for: fog, VAT, duties.

Several things shape what a laser show projector costs, among them its laser power, how fast it draws, how you control it, how long it runs on battery and what comes with it.
This guide explains each one, gives the price of every LaserCube model, shows what the combos add and lists the other costs of a laser light show, so you can budget for all the laser show equipment you need.
What decides the price of a laser show projector
- Laser power: a laser's brightness is its power in watts. LaserCube comes in 1.2W and 2.5W (WiFi), 3W and 6W (Pro), and 6W and 10W (Ultra MK2), each with red, green and blue lasers (how RGB lasers work).
- Scan speed: the scanners in the Pro and Ultra MK2 are rated at over 35,000 points per second (at 7°), the WiFi's at 25,000 (at 6°). Faster scanners suit logos and detailed graphics (laser scanning speed).
- Control: the WiFi plays from the LaserOS app on a phone, tablet or computer. The Pro and Ultra MK2 add a screen, play shows on their own with no device, and take DMX, Art-Net, ILDA and USB MIDI.
- Battery: the Ultra MK2 runs about 3 to 4 hours, the Pro and WiFi about 2 to 3, and every LaserCube charges while it plays on its charger.
- What's in the box: every LaserCube comes with a protective case, its charger, an Ethernet cable and adapter, spare safety keys, interlock jumpers (US units: an E-Stop Kit instead) and antennas; the Pro and Ultra MK2 add a clamp adapter, a safety loop and a microSD card.
- Software: LaserOS is free, with no paid upgrades, on iOS, Android, Mac and Windows.
LaserCube prices by model
These are SOLO prices (the cube in its case, with everything above) on 11 October 2026. The LaserCube page shows today's price for your country. Which model to choose mostly comes down to budget: the bigger the budget, the bigger the venue it suits.
- Pro 3W: €1,499. Pro 6W: €1,899. Our most advanced model, essentially a compact Ultra MK2: 37% smaller and 2.5 kg. The Pro isn't sold in the USA yet.
- Ultra MK2 6W: €2,199 ($2,999 in the USA). Ultra MK2 10W: €2,699 ($3,999 in the USA). The 6W has the Pro 6W's laser output, plus a longer battery, full-size XLR DMX and ILDA Out (most shows don't need those ports). The 10W is our most powerful model. For buildings and long distances we recommend the Ultra MK2; outdoors, every beam must end on a solid surface such as a wall, never in the sky, and never on windows, metal or anything shiny. In the USA, the Ultra MK2 is the professional model we sell.
- WiFi 1.2W: €799 ($1,499 in the USA). WiFi 2.5W: €999 ($1,799 in the USA). For a tight budget: up to about 500 people, played from a phone, tablet or computer, with no DMX, ILDA or MIDI port, and no standalone shows.
The Pro and Ultra MK2 each suit audiences of up to about 1,000 people; for more, run several cubes in sync. Compare the models on the models page, or the Pro and Ultra MK2 in our side-by-side guide.
What the combos add
Every model comes as SOLO, DJX, STAGE or STADIUM, and each step adds accessories. For the Ultra MK2 10W outside the USA, on 11 October 2026:
- DJX: SOLO + Expander + Hologram Net, €2,799.
- STAGE: DJX + Optics Kit + Rain Cover, €2,949.
- STADIUM: STAGE + Diffract Lens + Nano Fogger + E-Stop, €3,099.
In the USA they cost $4,109, $4,339 and $4,449; every US unit already has an E-Stop Kit, so the US STADIUM adds none.
The Expander makes the picture about 3 times wider and higher. The Hologram Net gives a hologram-like effect on a dark stage; beams that pass through it must end on a solid surface behind it. The Optics Kit and Diffract Lens add effects, but no lens is needed for a regular show. Switch the laser off before you fit a lens, and check again where every beam ends: the beam block can't be used with a lens fitted. More in laser show accessories.
Costs beyond the projector
Accessory prices are from 11 October 2026; the gear page shows today's.
- Haze or fog: beams in the air show best with haze or fog, and any fog or haze machine works. Our Nano Fogger, a small fogger for small spaces, is €99 ($110 in the USA), liquid not included; big venues use a full-size machine (fog for a laser show). Never connect a fog machine to a Pro or Ultra MK2's DMX ports unless you're sure it's true DMX: many put mains power on their XLR socket, which damages the cube.
- E-Stop Kit: optional outside the USA, €129 on its own, or part of STADIUM.
- Rain cover: €109 for the Ultra MK2 ($130 in the USA) and €69 for the WiFi ($75 in the USA), or part of their STAGE and STADIUM. With it fitted, light rain is fine, heavy rain isn't. The Pro's isn't available yet, so for now the Pro STAGE and STADIUM don't include one and a Pro can't be used in rain.
- Rigging: a truss clamp of your own fits the bracket on the Pro and on the Ultra MK2 (M8 or M10 bolt); attach a safety cable through the eye bolt when it hangs at height. The WiFi fits a standard camera tripod; ours is €69 ($75 in the USA) and comes in the WiFi DJX.
- Pro DMX cables: the Pro's 3.5 mm DMX jacks need 3.5 mm TRS to XLR adapter cables wired for DMX, not included; audio adapters won't work.
- Permits: rules for public shows differ by country, state and venue, and some places need a permit or a trained laser safety officer, so check your local rules.
Buying outside or inside the USA
Shipping is free worldwide, express and tracked.
Outside the USA, our prices don't include VAT. Orders ship from Hong Kong, not from an EU or UK company, so we don't collect VAT or import duties. The courier contacts you to pay them before or at delivery, and the amount depends on your country.
In the USA, there's no import duty, and no sales tax is added at checkout. In the US, LaserCube is certified through X-Laser, and a LaserCube bought in the USA comes with the FDA variance (issued by X-Laser). For public shows, check your local rules too. That variance is why US prices are higher. Before X-Laser ships an Ultra MK2 10W, the buyer must pass X-Laser's free online Laser Operator Course.
Owning or hiring a show
We don't rent LaserCubes. If you only need lasers for one night, hiring a show company is the other route: our post on laser light rental compares renting with owning. We don't create custom shows ourselves; for a custom show, we recommend our partners Silesia Lasers and Gnist Pyro.
Every LaserCube has a 1-year limited warranty, covering parts and labor, including the battery. LaserCube isn't sold on Amazon, and a new "LaserCube" far below our price isn't ours: scam shops reuse our videos to sell other products.
A word on safety
LaserCube is a professional show laser, not a toy: never aim it at people's eyes, at audiences or at aircraft, and never at anything flammable. Wherever people may be, keep every beam at least 3 m (10 ft) above the floor, and never leave a running cube unattended. More in our safety tips.
